Our Story

While walking alongside my childhood best friend of more than 30 years through her cancer journey, we began paying closer attention to what surrounded us each day—the candles we burned, the fragrances we breathed in, the cleaners we used, the food we ate, the clothing and materials we brought into our homes, and the ingredients woven into our everyday lives.

The more we learned, the more we wanted better options for her.

During Caitlin’s fight, I discovered a small business making beeswax candles and began buying them for her. Lighting a candle couldn’t change what she was facing, but somehow, it could change the atmosphere in the middle of the struggle—bringing a small sense of warmth, comfort, and peace to an incredibly difficult season.

But it didn’t stop with candles.

Caitlin was determined to fight with everything she had. She continually searched for natural, thoughtful ways to support her well-being and give herself every possible advantage. As she began making changes, many of those choices became things we wanted in our own homes, too: products made with thoughtfully selected ingredients that still felt beautiful, effective, and approachable.

Since her diagnosis, I have learned—and come to deeply believe—that choosing cleaner home essentials shouldn’t mean sacrificing the comforting scents, simple routines, or elevated details that make a house feel like home.

So, I began creating them.

What started at home has grown into PS Home—a family-owned small business crafting cleaner home fragrance and everyday essentials in the Texas Panhandle. From our beeswax-and-tallow candles to our laundry, cleaning, and home fragrance collections, every product is created with purpose and inspired by the places, people, and moments that make life meaningful.

Our faith is at the heart of this journey. We believe God can bring purpose from even the hardest seasons, and we are continually learning to trust His provision as PS Home grows—one product, one customer, and one open door at a time.
